[/title][fusion_text]Veena a biotechnologist worked in US for a decade as a product manager in a leading biotech company. She returned back from US with an intation to start her own biotech venture in the field of genomics and proteomics. Veena was inclined towards diagnostics and chose her area in production of biotechnology training kits. She was referred to MITCON by her friend who did her training in biotechnology from MITCON. Veena leveraged her rich subject knowledge in biotechnology to conceive this enterprise at MITCON TBI. She explored the possibilities and market potential of many commercially available diagnostic kits. The areas that she identified where there was lacunae was the cost factor and unavailability of kits in the domestic market as most of the kits were imported and did not have application support facility.

She had an idea to manufacture low cost stand alone, ready to use kits with all the needed components. Primers and DNA were all a unique addition in the product making it a completely viable product.
The vision she has shared with MITCON is the continued development of company with a global reach, capable of penetrating each market, fueled by a constant flow of quality products, which provide innovative and affordable solution to customers. Manthan Bio-Tech’s mission to establish a company for Diagnostics, Molecular Diagnostics, Drug Discovery, Bio-Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology based products for industry and healthcare. Company has so far developed few kits for Genomics training purpose. These kits have been given to few education institutes in Pune. Manthan Biotech has standardized Genomics kit product range and ready for launch in near future. Manthan biotech is still exploring possibility of purchasing raw material at further cheapest price from sources from China.
