Spectrum of Services	Technology Business Incubator MITCON Technology Business Incubator MITCON's Technology BUSINESS INCUBATOR is sponsored by Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India & APCTT, New Delhi. It is also approved by Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Govt. of India. An integrated project having state of art Biotechnology laboratory, consultancy wing and training facility for various disciplines in Bio-Technology, agriculture, food processing and Pharmaceutical has been set up to boost commercialization through incubation. The Center houses facilities for Microbiology, Biofertilizers, Biopesticides, Genomics, Plant Tissue culture sale and supply center, Bioinformatics laboratories. MITCON's Incubation facility is located in the central part of Pune city.
Thrust Area : Biotechnology, Agriculture, Food Processing, Ayurveda, Pharmaceuticals. List of the services provided by MITCON TBI: • Market survey / marketing assistance • Business planning and training • Organizing management/ technical assistance • Assistance in obtaining statutory approvals • Syndicating finances • Arranging legal and IPR services • Using facilities of the Host Institute (HI) at nominal charges • Work space for a limited period • Common facilities of TBI such as communication, conference, computers.	How We Support? For the new business, the time of highest risk occurs at the beginning of the commercialization cycle. What is needed is a helping hand to guide new entrepreneurs through their process. MITCON TBI provides help and assistance to research academics / entrepreneurs seeking to translate their scientific research into commercial enterprises. MITCON TBI provides a range of low cost, physical resources (offices space and administration) to provide entrepreneurs with a viable commercial presence and a platform whilst developing their new enterprises. Additionally, MITCON TBI provides an extensive range of advisory services and soft infrastructure to assist new entrepreneurs. These include experienced coaches and mentors, as well as legal and professional advisors. In addition, MITCON TBI has access to a broad resource network of invaluable contacts and institutions (government and private) to assist in connecting new businesses to the global economy. In total, MITCON TBI can help new entrepreneurs to rapidly build a robust, sustainable enterprise around their technology and greatly enhance their chances of commercial success.

Seed Support System

MITCON has received approval under the scheme "Seed Support System for Start-ups in Incubators" of the Technology Development Board, Department of Science & Technology for seed fund with a corpus of Rs 1 Crore.
The objective of the seed support being to develop the resources and infrastructure that are essential to identify early stage opportunities and then assist the client companies in the process of commercialization.
Incubatees are encouraged to contact MITCON for further information. Rs. 1 Lakh to Rs. 25 lakhs financial assistance will be provided to the incubated entrepreneur.
The disbursement will be linked to benchmarks / milestones. List of services to be covered under the financial assistance include:

security, utility, etc.
Research & Development of a Product
Work space for a limited period
